BAOMA Shield Flexicool is an ultra-premium quality water-based elastomeric acrylic paint formulated with superior light-fastness pigments that gives optimum outdoor durability against harsh tropical climate. Its innovative Flexicool technology enables the paint-film, not only to elongate up to 3x as to cover hairline cracks & provides waterproofing protection, but also reduces exterior surface temperature by up to 5°C, results in energy saving to cool your home. It has excellent resistance to algae and fungus growth and withstands alkali on plastered wall, having superior dirt resistance & excellent UV protection, making it the ultimate choice for long term decoration and protection of exterior plastered wall, concrete, brick, gypsum board etc.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from dirt, oil, grease and other contaminants. Remove all loose or powdery residues by brushing or scraping with a stiff fibre brush under running water or by using high-pressure water jet. Areas affected by mould, lichen, algae or fungus must be treated with MCI Micro Kill. Repair defects with a suitable filler or putty. Apply BAOMA Chameleon Primer 2000 / Freshcon Primer 1500 / Excila 1900 / Excila 1000 where high alkalinity is present.

For optimum 10 years performance, priming of 1 coat BAOMA Freshcon Primer 1500 is compulsory before over-coating with 2 coats BAOMA Shield Flexicool. Avoid painting where surface is high in moisture content or during wet weather (recommended painting specification requires moisture content of the wall to be below 16% as measured by protimeter and alkalinity of the wall below pH9).

Thinning	: Use clean water, dilute up to 5% of water if necessary

Safety, Health & Environment

Ensure good ventilation during painting, do not breathe vapour or spray mist. Keep doors and windows open during application and drying. It is advisable to wear mask and eyes protector while applying. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of accidental ingestion, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING, seek immediate medical advice. To remove splashes of paint from skin by using water and soap or skin care product. Do not empty paint into drains or water courses, dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate Environmental Quality Regulations.
