BAOMA Viruspruf is an eco-friendly odorless water-based interior hygienic coating that provides a durable smooth finish with superior washability to withstand regular cleaning with moderate detergents. It has excellent stain repellency hence household stains can be easily removed. Its innovative Silver Ion technology is scientifically proven that it effectively inhibits the growth of viruses such as Human Coronavirus, Coxsackievirus A16, H1N1 virus. Besides, it is effective against common bacteria such as E-Coli, MRSA, Staphylococcus Aureus, fungi and mould, thus promotes hygienic indoor living environment, making it suitable for use in area such as childcare center, kindergarten, school, clinic, hospital, hotel, dining area, food preparation area & etc.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from dirt, oil, grease and other contaminants. Remove all loose or powdery residues by brushing or scraping with a stiff fibre brush and clean with water. Areas persistently affected by mould, lichen, algae or fungus must be treated with MCI Micro Kill. Repair defects with a suitable filler or putty. Apply BAOMA Chameleon Primer 2000 / Freshcon Primer 1500 / Excila 1900 / Excila 1000 where high alkalinity is present. Avoid painting where surface is high in moisture content or during wet weather (recommended painting specification requires moisture content of the wall to be below 16% as measured by protimeter and alkalinity of the wall below pH9).

Film Finish :  Mid Sheen
Touch Dry :  30 minutes (depends on temperature and humidity)
Recoating Interval :  2 hours
Theoretical Coverage :  11 - 13 m² / litre / coat (actual coverage is dependent on loss factors)
No. of Coat :  Minimum 2 coats (depends on color)
Application :  Brush, roller, air spray or airless spray
Thinning :  Use clean water, dilute up to 5% of water if necessary

 

Safety, Health & Environment

Ensure good ventilation during painting, do not breathe vapour or spray mist. Keep doors and windows open during application and drying. It is advisable to wear mask and eyes protector while applying. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of accidental ingestion, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING, seek immediate medical advice. To remove splashes of paint from skin by using water and soap or skin care product. Do not empty paint into drains or water courses, dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate Environmental Quality Regulations.
